Our Lady of Lourdes
Our Lady of Lourdes refers to the Marian apparitions experienced by Saint Bernadette Soubirous in 1858 in Lourdes, France. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to her eighteen times, calling for prayer and penance. The water from the Lourdes spring is associated with many miracles. Thousands of pilgrims visit Lourdes annually seeking healing and spiritual renewal. Our Lady of Lourdes is especially invoked for healing of the sick.
