Saint Victor

Saint Victor

Saint Victor is the name shared by several early Christian martyrs, most prominently Saint Victor of Marseilles. A Roman soldier, he refused to renounce his faith and was martyred in the early fourth century under Emperor Maximian. His steadfastness made him a symbol of courage in the face of persecution. Saint Victor is particularly venerated in France, with many churches dedicated to him.
