Saint Elodia
Saint Elodia, also known as Alodia, was a Christian martyr from 9th-century Spain. Alongside her sister Saint Nunilo, she suffered persecution under Muslim rule for refusing to renounce her faith. Both sisters came from a family with a Christian mother and Muslim father and were martyred for steadfast adherence to Christianity. They are venerated together, especially in the region of Huesca, Aragon. Their legacy is one of courage and fidelity to the Christian faith.
