San Germanicus, Martir ng Philadelphia

San Germanicus ay isang Kristiyanong martir na nabuhay sa ika-2 siglo AD in the lungsod of Philadelphia, in the Roman province of Asia (modern-day Turkiya). Siya ay condemned to be devoured by wild beasts dahil sa pagtanggi na renounce kanyang faith in Christ. As siya ay being led to the arena, siya encouraged the other mga Kristiyano present, at noong the lions ay released, siya eagerly rushed toward them, eager to attain the crown of pagkamartir. San Germanicus ay sinasamba as a tapangous witness to the faith at ang patron ng Philadelphia.
