San Francisco ng Assisi

San Francisco of Assisi (1181-1226) ay isang Italyaanong Katoliko friar at ang founder of the Franciscan Order. Ipinanganak sato a wealthy family, siya renounced kanyang inheritance to live a buhay of poverty at debosyon to God. Siya ay renowned for kanyang pag-ibig of nature at all living creatures, at ang patron ng animals at ang environment.
