St. Arcadius, Martyr
St. Arcadius was a Christian martyr who lived in the 4th century. He was born in Caesarea, Cappadocia (modern-day Turkey) and suffered martyrdom under the Roman emperor Diocletian around the year 303 AD. Arcadius refused to renounce his Christian faith and was subsequently tortured and executed. He is venerated as a saint for his unwavering devotion and courage in the face of persecution. St. Arcadius is the patron saint of Caesarea and is invoked for protection against storms and lightning.
