Saint Nina
Saint Nina, also known as Nino, was a woman from Cappadocia who is celebrated for bringing Christianity to Georgia in the early 4th century. She was renowned for her piety, wisdom, and miracles, including healing the sick and converting the royal family. Nina preached the gospel tirelessly and is highly venerated in the Georgian Orthodox Church as well as in the Catholic Church. She is considered one of the most important female saints in Georgian history and is often depicted holding a grapevine cross.
