Saint Alexander
Saint Alexander was a name borne by several early Christian martyrs and bishops, most notably Saint Alexander of Alexandria, a prominent 3rd-4th century bishop who defended orthodox Christianity against Arianism. He participated in the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Saint Alexander is revered for his courage, faith, and commitment to the doctrine of the Trinity. He is invoked for strength in defending the faith. He is recognized as a saint in both Catholic and Orthodox traditions.
