Saint Juliana, of Mount Cornillon

Saint Juliana of Mount Cornillon was born in 1193 near Liège, Belgium. Orphaned at a young age, she was raised by the Augustinian canonesses at Mount Cornillon, where she later became a nun. Known for her mystical visions, Juliana campaigned for the institution of the Feast of Corpus Christi in honor of the Holy Eucharist. She died in 1258 and is venerated as the visionary who promoted Eucharistic devotion.
