St Cletus, Pope and Martyr
St. Cletus was the third Bishop of Rome and Pope from 79 to 92 AD. He was born in Rome and died a martyr's death around the year 92. During his papacy, he is credited with organizing the Church and establishing the ecclesiastical structure. St. Cletus is venerated for his service and dedication to the early Christian community, as well as for his martyrdom. He is the patron saint of Budapest.
