Saint Solange
Saint Solange was a French virgin martyr venerated in the Catholic Church. Born in the 9th century near Bourges, she was known for her deep Christian piety and devotion from a young age. She made a vow of chastity and resisted the advances of a local nobleman, which led to her martyrdom. Her cult is especially strong in the Berry region of France, where she is the patron saint. Saint Solange is invoked for protection and purity.
