Saint Glyceria, martyr of Heraclea

Saint Glyceria was a Christian martyr who suffered during the persecutions in Heraclea in the early centuries of the Church. According to ancient tradition, she remained steadfast in her faith despite threats of death. Very few personal details or acts are historically attested about her life. Her witness has been honored in both Eastern and Western Christian traditions.
