Saint Frederick, bishop of Utrecht

Saint Frederick was the bishop of Utrecht in the 9th century, renowned for his zeal in reforming morals and promoting Christian faith. He opposed various abuses within the church and ran afoul of powerful interests. Frederick was murdered in 838, likely as a result of his outspoken stance against immorality. He is remembered as a martyr who died for his commitment to truth and justice.
