Saint Quinta, martyr of Alexandria
Saint Quinta, martyr of Alexandria, is venerated by the Catholic Church as a faithful witness to Christ during the persecutions in Egypt. She was a Christian woman who suffered greatly for her faith under Emperor Decius in the 3rd century. Refusing to renounce her beliefs, she was subjected to cruel tortures and ultimately martyred in Alexandria. Her courage and steadfastness inspired many early Christians.
