Saint Yves of Kermartin was a Breton priest and judge renowned for his integrity, fairness, and dedication to justice, especially for the poor. Born in 1253, he earned the title 'Advocate of the Poor' for defending orphans, widows, and those wronged by the law. Yves became a model of Christian charity and rectitude, balancing mercy with justice. He is the patron saint of lawyers and Brittany.
