St. Mary Magdalene de' Pazzi was a Carmelite nun who lived from 1566 to 1607 in Florence, Italy. She was known for her deep spirituality, mystical visions, and intense devotion to the Eucharist. Magdalene entered the Carmelite convent at age 16 and became renowned for her ascetic lifestyle, ecstatic experiences, and prophetic gifts. She is venerated for her holiness and is the patron saint of the Carmelite Order and of psychologists.
