Amos

Amos is one of the twelve minor prophets in the Old Testament, renowned for his powerful messages of social justice and piety. He lived in the 8th century BC and was a shepherd from Tekoa in Judah, called by God to prophesy in Israel. Amos boldly criticized the corruption and religious hypocrisy of his time, calling the people back to true worship and compassion for the poor.
