John Francis Regis

St. John Francis Regis (1597-1640) was a French Jesuit priest known for his tireless work among the poor and marginalized. Born in Fontcouverte, France, he dedicated his life to serving the spiritual and material needs of the underprivileged. He established schools, organized charitable organizations, and traveled extensively to minister to the rural poor. Regis is revered for his selfless commitment to social justice and his unwavering faith. He is the patron saint of the missions and is invoked for the conversion of sinners.
