Saint Paulina, of the Agonizing Heart of Jesus, foundress of the Little Sisters of the Immaculate Conception

Saint Paulina, born Amabile Lucia Visintainer in Italy in 1865, emigrated to Brazil as a child. She dedicated her life to serving the poor, sick, and marginalized, founding the Little Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in 1895. Despite suffering personal illness and difficulties, she persevered in her charitable work and devotion to God.
