Saint Christopher

Saint Christopher

St. Christopher was a Christian martyr who is said to have lived in the 3rd century. Though details of his life are uncertain, tradition holds that he was a giant of a man who carried the Christ child across a river. He was put to death for his faith during the persecution of Christians under the Roman emperor Decius. St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers, motorists, and children.
