Saint James, the Apostle

Saint James, the Apostle, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is sometimes called James the Greater to distinguish him from the other apostle of the same name. He was the son of Zebedee and the brother of John. He played a prominent role among the apostles and was a witness to key events in the ministry of Jesus.
