Saint Christina

Saint Christina of Bolsena, also known as Christina the Great Martyr, was a young Christian martyr of the 3rd century. She is said to have suffered for her faith in Tyre and then in Bolsena, enduring severe tortures and steadfastly refusing to renounce Christianity. Her courage and testimony converted many onlookers even as she faced death. Saint Christina is venerated as a patron saint of millers and those suffering from mental illness. Her relics are enshrined in Bolsena, Italy.
