Saint Liliosa, martyr of Córdoba

Saint Liliosa, martyr of Córdoba, was a Christian woman who suffered martyrdom in Córdoba, Spain, during the 9th century. She was part of a group known as the Martyrs of Córdoba, who resisted religious persecution under Islamic rule. Liliosa courageously professed her faith despite the danger, ultimately being executed for her beliefs. She is venerated by the Catholic Church and commemorated on July 27.
