St. Peter Julian Eymard, priest founder of the Sacramentini
St. Peter Julian Eymard (1811-1868) was a French Roman Catholic priest who founded the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, also known as the Sacramentini. Born in La Mure, France, he dedicated his life to promoting devotion to the Eucharist. He established perpetual adoration chapels and encouraged the faithful to frequently receive Holy Communion. Eymard is known as the "Apostle of the Eucharist" and is venerated for his deep spirituality and love for the Blessed Sacrament.
