Jesus Christ, the Savior
Jesus Christ, the Savior, is the central figure of Christianity and the Son of God. In Catholic belief, He became incarnate to redeem humanity through His life, death on the cross, and glorious resurrection. His Transfiguration, celebrated on August 6th, revealed His divine glory to Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor. Catholics honor Jesus as the Redeemer who offers salvation to all mankind.
