Saint Noel, martyr of Quay
Saint Noel, martyr of Quay, was one of the priests who were executed during the French Revolution for their steadfastness in the Catholic faith. He courageously refused to take the oath to the Civil Constitution of the Clergy. Despite facing persecution, he remained devoted to his ministry. He was martyred on August 22, 1792, and is commemorated among the Blessed Martyrs of Quay.
