Cosmas
Saints Cosmas and Damian were brothers and physicians who lived in the 3rd century in Arabia. They practiced medicine without accepting any payment, earning them the title "the Silverless Ones." They were known for their charity and their miraculous cures. During the Diocletianic Persecution, they were martyred for their Christian faith around the year 287 AD. They are venerated as the patron saints of physicians, surgeons, and pharmacists.
