St. Firmin, Bishop of Amiens and Martyrs
St. Firmin was a 3rd-century Christian bishop and martyr. He was born in Pamplona, Spain and is believed to have been ordained as the first bishop of Amiens, France by St. Honestus, a disciple of St. Peter. Firmin zealously preached the gospel and converted many to Christianity. He was eventually arrested, tortured, and beheaded for his faith around the year 303 AD. St. Firmin is venerated as the patron saint of Amiens and is invoked against headaches.
