Saint Mary Salome
Saint Mary Salome is venerated as one of the women who followed Jesus and was present at his crucifixion and tomb. She is traditionally regarded as the mother of the apostles James the Greater and John. Mary Salome is also believed to have been among the Myrrhbearers who went to anoint Jesus’ body and witnessed the empty tomb. Her fidelity and presence among the disciples make her an important figure in Christian tradition.
