Saint Magloire
Saint Magloire was a 6th-century bishop, revered as a missionary and monk in Brittany. He succeeded his cousin Saint Samson as Bishop of Dol. According to tradition, after resigning his episcopal duties, he retired to Sark and founded a monastery. Saint Magloire is particularly venerated in Brittany and the Channel Islands. His cult is associated with miracles and devotion among local Christians.
