Saint Solomon was a 9th-century king of Brittany known for his piety and dedication to the Christian faith. After ascending to the throne, he promoted the welfare of his people and protected the Church from external threats. He was noted for his acts of justice, charity, and religious reforms. Solomon was ultimately murdered, becoming venerated as a martyr and a patron of Brittany.
