Saint Daria

Sts. Chrysanthus and Daria were early Christian martyrs who were executed in Rome in the 3rd century AD. Chrysanthus was a Roman citizen who converted to Christianity, while Daria was his pagan wife whom he also converted. They were arrested, tortured, and ultimately buried alive for their faith under the Roman emperor Numerian. Sts. Chrysanthus and Daria are venerated as patron saints of lovers and are invoked for happy marriages.
