St. Vicelinus
St. Vicelinus was a German Catholic saint who lived in the 12th century. Born around 1086 in Hamelin, Germany, he became a priest and dedicated his life to missionary work. Vicelinus established churches and monasteries throughout northern Germany, particularly in the region of Holstein. He is remembered for his tireless efforts to convert the local pagan population to Christianity. Vicelinus died on December 12, 1154, and is venerated as the patron saint of Holstein.
