Saint Judoc
Saint Judoc, also known as Josse or Jodocus, was a Breton nobleman and hermit from the 7th century. He was the son of King Juthael of Brittany but renounced his royal heritage to live a life of piety and solitude. Seeking greater devotion, he made a pilgrimage to Rome, then returned to the Flemish coast where he established a hermitage. Judoc became known for his sanctity and miraculous cures. He is venerated as a patron saint of pilgrims and travelers.
