Saint Virginie

Saint Virginie

Saint Virginia Centurione Bracelli was an Italian noblewoman who dedicated her life to caring for the poor, sick, and abandoned in Genoa. Widowed at a young age, she used her inheritance to establish shelters and charitable organizations. Her compassion for the needy inspired many to join her cause, eventually founding the Sisters of Our Lady of Refuge in Monte Calvario. She is remembered for her selfless charity and trust in Divine Providence.
