Adelaide of Italy
St. Adelaide (c. 931 - 999 AD) was the Holy Roman Empress and Queen of Italy. Born in Burgundy, she married Otto I, the Holy Roman Emperor, and played a key role in the political and religious affairs of the Holy Roman Empire. Adelaide was known for her piety, charitable works, and efforts to reform the clergy. She is venerated for her devout Christian life and contributions to the Catholic Church. St. Adelaide is the patron saint of abuse victims, in-law problems, and princesses.
