B. Hyacinthe Cormier, Dominican

Blessed Hyacinthe Cormier was a French Dominican friar who lived from 1832 to 1916. He served as the Master of the Order of Preachers from 1899 until his death. Cormier was known for his deep spirituality, humility, and commitment to the Dominican Order. He worked to promote the religious life and to strengthen the order's unity and discipline. Cormier is venerated for his holiness and his efforts to renew the Dominican Order. He is the patron saint of Dominicans.
