Saint Genevieve

St. Geneviève was a French saint who lived in the 5th century. Born around 422 AD in Nanterre, near Paris, she dedicated her life to the service of God from a young age. Geneviève is best known for her role in protecting Paris from the Huns, persuading the city's residents to pray and fast instead of fleeing. She is the patron saint of Paris and is venerated for her piety, miracles, and devotion to her faith. Geneviève died around 502 AD and was buried in the church that now bears her name. She is remembered for her steadfast faith and her commitment to helping those in need.
