St. John, Bishop of Ravenna

St. John was a Bishop of Ravenna, Italy, during the 6th century. He served in this role from around 560 to 577 AD. As bishop, he was known for his piety, wisdom, and commitment to the spiritual welfare of his flock. St. John is venerated for his pastoral leadership and his efforts to defend the Catholic faith during a time of political and religious upheaval in the region. He is the patron saint of the city of Ravenna and is invoked for protection against storms and for good weather.
