Veridiana
Saint Veridiana was an Italian laywoman and hermit who lived in the 13th century. Born in Castelfiorentino, Tuscany, she devoted her life to prayer, charity, and helping the poor. After a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, she enclosed herself in a cell attached to a church, living as a recluse for over thirty years. Her life was marked by miracles and deep devotion, and she is honored primarily in Tuscany. She is venerated as a model of penitence and compassion.
