Saint Amand

Saint Amand was a bishop and missionary in the 7th century, known for his evangelization efforts in Flanders and other regions. He was born around 584 in what is now France. Amand is especially remembered for founding monasteries and converting pagans. He is considered one of the apostles of Belgium.
