St. Albinus Bishop of Angers
St. Albinus was a Bishop of Angers in France during the 6th century. Born around 470 AD, he was known for his piety, charity, and defense of the Catholic faith. As bishop, he worked to improve the lives of the poor and sick, and is remembered for his miraculous healings. Albinus played a key role in the conversion of Clovis I, the first Christian king of the Franks. He is the patron saint of Angers and is invoked for protection against rheumatism and gout. St. Albinus died around 549 AD and was canonized for his holiness and service to the Church.
