Saint Emilius, martyr of Carthage
Saint Emilius, martyr of Carthage, was a Christian who suffered persecution for his faith during the third century. He was arrested and put on trial alongside Saint Castus. When initially tempted to renounce his faith, he resisted and was ultimately condemned to death for his steadfastness. Both saints were burned alive, bearing witness to their faith in Christ.
