B. Amadeus IX of Savoy
Blessed Amadeus IX of Savoy (1435-1472) was a member of the House of Savoy and served as the Duke of Savoy from 1465 until his death. He was known for his piety, charity, and concern for the poor. Amadeus was a patron of the arts and a supporter of the Franciscan Order. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church, with his feast day celebrated on March 30. Amadeus is the patron saint of the disabled and those suffering from illness.
