St. Hermenegild, Martyr
St. Hermenegild was a Visigothic prince who lived in the 6th century. He was the son of King Liuvigild, a Arian Christian. Hermenegild converted to Catholicism and refused to renounce his faith, which led to his imprisonment and eventual martyrdom. He is venerated as a saint and martyr for his steadfast commitment to the Catholic Church.
