Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier was a French Roman Catholic religious sister and foundress of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. She dedicated her life to the care and rehabilitation of marginalized women and girls. Throughout her life, she established over 110 convents in 35 countries, promoting charity and redemption. She was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1940.
