Saint Valeria of Milan
Saint Valeria of Milan was an early Christian martyr revered in the Catholic Church. She was the wife of Saint Vitalis and the mother of Saints Gervasius and Protasius. Tradition asserts that Valeria was a devout Christian who suffered persecution for her faith in Milan, Italy. She was martyred in the first centuries by either scourging or beheading because of her steadfast devotion to Christ. Her example has inspired devotion across generations.
