Saint Marian, martyr of Lambesa
Saint Marian, martyr of Lambesa, was a deacon who suffered martyrdom in Lambesa, North Africa, during the persecution of Valerian in the third century. He was arrested alongside Saint James and other Christians for refusing to renounce their faith. Despite torture and imprisonment, Marian remained steadfast and encouraged his companions. Their courage and witness inspired many in the early Church.
