St. Quirinus of Rome, martyred on the Via Appia

St. Quirinus of Rome was a Christian martyr who died around the year 116 AD. He was a Roman tribune who converted to Christianity and was executed on the Via Appia in Rome. Quirinus is venerated for his steadfast faith and willingness to sacrifice his life for his beliefs.
