Dominic Savio

Saint Dominic Savio was an Italian teenage student of Saint John Bosco noted for his piety, purity, and joy. He resolved to become a saint early in life, setting a program to avoid sin and do small things with great love. Dominic was known for his cheerfulness and deep devotion to the Eucharist and Mary. He died at only 14 years old in 1857, but his short life inspired countless young people.
